We all by now knows about Google Maps and we even use it on a daily basis but it seems that Microsoft is going to take this one step further with their Street Slide.

In Microsoft’s new Street Slide, they have taken the concept of street view, and transformed it into an in-depth, multi-perspective panoramic view of the streets. This offers the user a unique view and a more efficient means of searching for a building or address.

While Street Slide looks promising, Microsoft only has only processed about 2400 images, or roughly 2.5 miles mapped to-date, so scrolling about cities in a multi-perspective panoramic fashion is still some time off.
